Hope As Far As One Can See

The Mining City Choral Union and Montana Tech Copper Hill Choir’s spring concert, Hope As Far As One Can See, will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church at 3:00 p.m. This semester’s concert will be held in conjunction with the Mining City Choral Union.
Tickets are $15 for adults, and $10 for students and seniors.
Featuring arrangements by Fred Crase, an accompanying narrative by Orphan Girl Children’s Theatre director Elizabeth Crase, and stunning visuals, Hope As Far As One Can See, performed in the breathtaking acoustics of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, will surely be a unique choral experience. The arrangements include songs by vocalist Maynard James Keenan’s bands Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer.

The Mining City Choral Union Winter concert titled “A Warm Autumn Welcomes Winter” will be performed today at 3:00 PM Mountain Time at Aldersgate United Methodist Church here in Butte!  You can watch the concert online for free by visiting https://youtube.com/live/RfpjclrqiGI?feature=share.  The stream will start around 2:45 PM and the concert will begin about 3:00 PM.  We hope you can watch!

A Light On in the Dark

The Mining City Choral Union and the Montana Tech Copper Hill Choir present their Fall concert, A Light On in the Dark at 3:00pm on Sunday, December 4th.  The concert will be held at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1621 Thornton Ave.  Both choirs are conducted by Fred Crase and piano accompaniment will be performed by Janet Shuttlesworth.  The concert will feature several holiday arrangements and a special performance by Fred himself!  Tickets are $10 for Adults, $5 for Students and Seniors at the door.

 

The Mining City Choral Union is a 501(c)(3) community choir made up of over 30 local singers.  Donations may be made at the door or online by visiting https://miningcitycu.org/donate/.
